A study rather than a finished piece. I wanted to know what happens to a surface that was made to reflect once it stops reflecting, and how much of an engraved line survives under corrosion.

The answer is that the line survives longest exactly where the hand never reached. The border is still legible. The middle, which somebody polished for a lifetime, is the most ruined part of the object.

The handle is broken because I could not make an unbroken one look honest.
